Meet Your Host: Dr. Trevor Enberg, DACVECC
Hi, I’m Trevor. I’ve spent the last 33 years in the trenches of veterinary medicine.
With 9 years in general practice and 24 years in emergency and critical care across multiple private and corporate-owned referral hospitals, I know exactly what it takes to practice high-level medicine outside the ivory tower of academia. I’ve seen the industry evolve, and I’m passionate about passing down the pragmatic, battle-tested knowledge that newer clinicians are desperate for.
I am a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) and a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) and the European Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (EVECCS). I am licensed as a veterinarian in British Columbia and work at VCA Canada Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre (VAERC).
When I’m not running morning clinical rounds or advocating for better standards of care on the ER floor, I’m probably analyzing a case, sketching out a new clinical algorithm, or gearing up for my next scuba dive.
